I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada and a couple buddys and myself are thinking of flying down there. need to find jobs and places to stay (or camp) and places to ride. where the fuck do we go? give me some tips.

hows it? most likely you would be flying into auckland.. thats a pretty good place to start... however because the seasons are reversed here to yours... id arrive and send it down south quick to queenstown and christchurch and hit up reefton as well..

than id start making the way north as the weather gets colder and arrive auckland in the winter beacause its pretty mild up here and theres an indoor park here...

as far as jobs go, it depends what youre looking for. theres always plenty of hospitality openings. lately the trade jobs are a bit slim and going more for local workers. Im from the states so got that firsthand..

when you have more info like dates and what your keen to do.put up a post and surely heaps of guys will help you out.. as a whole kiwis are pretty sweet and always down to meet new bmx'ers.. and definitely a good bunch of guys

That sounds like a decent plan. As for jobs, i'm a commercial diver and I will be looking for that kinda shit so if anyone knows about diving let me know. otherwise we'll be looking for pick apples and work on a resort really. i don't think we plan on making our way down south due to money and things but wheres a good place for orchard jobs or hospitality jobs? is the aukland area the best bet?

Not much in the way of fruit picking in Aucks cuz, best bet is up north or Gisbourne something like that - maybe round Tauranga... but I'd say it would be worth checking out the diving scene... might pick up a job drilling holes in the concrete walls of the local shit ponds or something... mmmm, suit up n dive in!!

If you wanna pick fruit theirs probably a job in keri keri up north.
